May 28, 2024

Dimitra Yoga will host special events during upcoming new moon and full moon dates.

New moon yoga with sound bath sessions will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 7; Friday, July 5; Sunday, Aug. 4; Sunday, Sept. 1; and Friday, Oct. 4, at the end of Cedar Street, Lewes. Participants will experience an evening of cosmic renewal and intention setting as they align with the lunar cycles and plant new seeds with the new moon. Stepping into the darkness of the new moon, attendees can embark on a journey of self-discovery and manifestation. Guided by experienced instructors, participants can surrender in yin yoga poses infused with the fresh energy of the lunar cycle. Guests will be immersed in a serene sound bath, enveloped in the harmonious tones of crystal bowls and chimes. The gentle vibrations help cleanse the spirit and pave the way for new beginnings and intentions to take root.

Full moon yoga with crystals and sound bath sessions are set for 6:30 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 21; Sunday, July 21; Sunday, Aug. 18; Sunday, Sept. 15; and Friday, Oct. 18, at Roosevelt Inlet, Lewes. In an evening of holistic healing and celestial connection, participants will immerse themselves in the powerful vibrations of yoga accompanied by the radiant energy of crystals, perfectly attuned to amplify the lunar magic. Attendees will flow through gentle poses, guided by experienced instructors, as they absorb the potent energies of the full moon. Soothing sounds of crystal bowls and chimes will provide a tranquil sound bath designed to cleanse and align the chakras, leaving participants feeling rejuvenated and balanced.

The events are suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners.

The beach at Roosevelt Inlet has a gravel parking lot with free parking and portable restrooms.

Class fee is $50. Guests should bring a beach towel or mat, water, journal and pen.
