New provider joins TidalHealth Primary Care in Georgetown
TidalHealth welcomes Kathy Melvin, FNP, to TidalHealth Primary Care in Georgetown.
A certified family nurse practitioner, Melvin received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Salisbury University and her master of science degree in nursing from La Salle University.
Melvin began her career at TidalHealth in 1994 and has held numerous clinical roles in many departments, including cancer care, same-day surgery, women’s health, children’s health and pain management. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Melvin has two grown children, Tyler and Amanda, and a Yorkie named Cape. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
