Signs have been placed at every access point along Lewes Beach restricting use to exercise and walking dogs only. The signs were put in place by Delaware Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health, to stop crowds from congregating.
City of Lewes officials have placed a garbage truck to block access to the main beach parking lot.
