Rehoboth Beach Patrol tests coming
The Rehoboth Beach Patrol has scheduled three pre-employment testing dates for the 2020 season. Testing dates are Sundays – March 29, April 5 and April 19. They will all take place at 11 a.m. in the Milford Boys & Girls Club, 101 Delaware Veterans Blvd., Milford.

Applicants should sign up for testing as early as possible because new employee slots tend to be filled after each test session. To schedule a pre-employment test session, email Rehoboth Beach Patrol Capt. Kent Buckson at kbuckson@cityofrehoboth.com. Call ahead before going to Henlopen Acres Town Hall
Henlopen Acres is asking for town hall visitors to call ahead before coming over. According to an announcement on the town’s website, most forms are available online under the information tab. The announcement says if paperwork needs to be dropped off, it should be left in the mailbox or the mail slot by the rear door at town hall. Lewes Board of Health meets March 25
The Lewes Board of Health will meet at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, at city hall. The panel will provide an update on coronavirus in Delaware and offer recommendations for the city. As city hall is closed to the public, the meeting is anticipated to be for city officials only. A livestream of the meeting will be available at www.lewes.civicweb.net

Lewes City Hall closed 
The City of Lewes has closed city hall to the public. Voter registration may be done by filing out a form available on the city’s website, www.ci.lewes.de.us. Forms and applications for building permits, business licenses and more are also available under the Business tab at the top of the website. 

Lewes Board of Public Works meets March 25
The Lewes Board of Public Works will meet at 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, at city hall. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the fiscal year 2021 budget, which goes into effect Wednesday, April 1. The meeting will be closed to the public, but a livestream will be available at www.lewesbpw.delaware.gov

Savannah Road work scheduled to start March 20
Construction of an entrance to the new Procino-Wells & Woodland law office on Savannah Road, Lewes, is scheduled to start Friday, March 20. There will be daytime shoulder closures for approximately two weeks.
