Nikki Miller will serve ably and fairly

May 17, 2024

I am writing to express my support for Nikki Miller as representative for the 20th District. Having known Miller since 2014, I am confident she has the skills and experience working with the public that will enable her to excel in this position.

I had the privilege of working alongside her for four years while she was assistant principal of Cape Henlopen High School and I was teaching Spanish. During our time together, she proved on a regular basis that she was an incredibly strong leader, and quickly gained the respect of the students and faculty alike. As a supervisor, I found her to be extremely approachable, open-minded and fair. I knew I could always go to her with any questions or concerns and get honest and open feedback. She was not only great at communicating, but she was also able to make the difficult decisions that come with the challenge of leading a high school. I left teaching in 2019 to pursue a different career, and since my time out of education, I have maintained a personal relationship with her. This personal experience, layered with my professional experience with her, leads me to believe that she is perfectly suited to represent the residents of the 20th District

As a local resident of Milton and a former teacher, I wholeheartedly endorse Nikki Miller as representative, as she will be a wonderful asset to the state Legislature and will serve the citizens of her district ably and fairly.
