Not the Doo-Dah Parade in Lewes but the La De Dah Parade in Yachats

While some Cape Gazette readers line the streets of Lewes on the Fourth of July for the Doo-Dah Parade, a Lewes tradition for more than 50 years, others travel to Yachats, Oregon, for the La De Dah Parade. That’s right, the Rion Starrs take an annual trip to Yachats to visit with family and join in the La De Dah Parade. A combination of their extended family and friend group has participated in the parade since 2003, and in recent years as The Yachats Rainbow Band.
