Ocean View Brewing June 6 dinner to benefit James Farm Preserve
Ocean View Brewing is collaborating with the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays to host a beer dinner fundraiser in support of the James Farm Ecological Preserve at 6 p.m., Thursday, June 6, at the brewery.
Situated along picturesque Indian River Bay in Bethany Beach, James Farm preserve is in the process of developing a three-season environmental education building. This facility will accommodate up to 70 people and will be equipped with essential amenities such as electricity, presentation capabilities, counter space and lab facilities. The preserve boasts scenic walking trails and serves as an educational hub for numerous field trips.
Mark Carter, CIB director of development, said, "The center is excited to team up with Ocean View Brewing for this night of community, connection to nature and culinary delight. James Farm is a special place in our area, and the new education building will greatly enhance the capabilities of the center to share it with locals and visitors to our watershed. Thank you to Ocean View Brewing for helping to support our mission to protect, restore and preserve our Inland Bays."
Highlights include an exclusive beer brewed with pine needles harvested from the preserve, paired with succulent pork tenderloin. Guests will also enjoy Ocean View Brewing's flagship IPA paired with tuna poke.
Tickets are $90, with $25 going toward the James Farm project. Each ticket grants access to a four-course dining experience meticulously crafted by Chef Nick Brennan, expertly paired with Ocean View Brewing's signature brews by Taylor Smith, head brewer.
