Oncologist Ajinkya Kulkarni joins Bayhealth cancer care team
Bayhealth Hematology/Oncology Associates recently welcomed oncologist Ajinkya Kulkarni, MD, to the committed and forward-thinking team at the Bayhealth Cancer Institute providing care for patients across Kent and Sussex counties.
Experienced in diagnosing and treating a variety of cancers and diseases of the blood, Kulkarni emphasizes the importance of building trust with his patients through communicative and compassionate care. Before coming to Bayhealth, he practiced in Brooklyn, N.Y., as a hematology and oncology fellow at Maimonides Medical Center.

Kulkarni completed his internal medicine residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pa., after earning his bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degrees at Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research Medical College in his home country of India. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology.
Bayhealth is a member of the Penn Cancer Network and is the only cancer program in Delaware affiliated with a National Cancer Institute–designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
