Pamela S. (Anderson) Chanoux, 43, of Milton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at Accent Care Hospice, ChristianaCare in Wilmington.

Pamela was born Feb. 19, 1980, in Milford, daughter of Carolyn (Jester) Anderson and the late Ralph “Butch” Anderson.

She attended H.O. Brittingham Elementary School, Milton Middle School, Sussex Vo-Tech, and finished her studies at James H. Groves School.

Pamela worked in retail for many years before becoming a waitress, a job she truly loved. She loved meeting new people, and serving was one way she could do that. Reading was one of her favorite pastimes, as well as going for rides, scouting yard sales, and organizing.  

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her companion of 13 years, Kevin Russ.

She is survived by her mother, Carolyn (Jester) Anderson; her beloved daughter, Thalia Anne Chanoux; sister, Lori Wardwell and her husband Darin; nephew, Wilson Hitch Wardwell; maternal grandmother, Estella Jester; aunts, Sharon Jones, and Connie Halter and her husband Stephen; uncle, Dan Anderson, his wife Dorothy and their family; special girlfriends, Blare, Katie and Michelle; as well as numerous cousins and extended family.

A celebration of Pamela’s life will be held at noon, Monday, Nov. 6, at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown. Guests should use the second entrance.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Pamela’s honor to Accent Care Hospice Center, ChristianaCare, 501 W. 14th St. N., Wilmington, DE 19801.
