Pathways to Success recently held its Partner With Pathways breakfast at the CHEER Center in Georgetown.
“We truly appreciate the community support we received at this annual fundraiser, and appreciate the opportunity to tell the Pathways story,” said Fay Blake, Pathways founder and executive director.
One of those stories was a 2018 WMDT “On the Bright Side” video taken at Sussex Technical High School with students and Pathways to Success Program Coordinator Jacques Bowe.
Mr. Bowe, as the students call him, then spoke about the successes these students – and many others – have had through the program.
An announcement was made with Atlantic Transportation’s new owner Dave Repass and operations manager Justin Brown in attendance. Through the company’s contribution of buses, Pathways to Success high school students will be able to go to Hershey Park, affording them lifelong memories outside Sussex County. For some, this will be their first trip outside the county and the state.
