Patricia A. Jones, kind, loving woman
Patricia A. Jones, 81, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at her home in Milton, surrounded by her family. Originally from Mt. Holly, N.J., Pat moved to Milton with her family from 1976-83, then moved with her family to Chestertown, Md., where she worked at Kent & Queen Anne’s Hospital for 15 years. In 1998, she retired with her husband, and they moved back to Milton.
Pat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Her life was defined by love, kindness, and unwavering support for those around her. She found joy in boating, gardening, happy hour, and crafting lasting memories with loved ones. These memories will forever resonate in the hearts of those privileged to have known her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Wolfe; and her sister, Rita Wolfe Brown. Pat is survived by her husband of 58 years, Daniel B. Jones; her two children, Jacquelyn Jones Keating (spouse Tom) and Daniel B. Jones Jr. (spouse Tricia); five grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Owen, Daniel III and Natalie; four sisters, Linda, Barbara, Libby and Monica; three brothers, Tom, Larry and Bobby; her sister-in-law, Lois and her husband Bo; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 20, at Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, followed by a service at 2 p.m.
