Paul Anthony Grecay, celebration of life set
Bob Furman invites friends and family to participate in a Celebration of Life for Paul Anthony Grecay, his late husband, who passed away almost four years ago after a long, courageous struggle with cancer.
Paul’s Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, May 20, at Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes. Bob will recount a bit about Paul, his life, their life together, and the joy, happiness, and inspiration Paul brought to friends and family. Bob also asks that those who attend bring their own stories and memories of Paul to share during the celebration.
Paul’s Celebration of Life was delayed multiple times by COVID-19, and until recently, Bob felt that the time for a celebration had passed. However, to his surprise, the third episode of the HBO series “The Last of Us” awakened memories and feelings that changed his outlook.
Episode three of “The Last of Us” stands on its own, and if you watch the episode, Bob believes you’ll come away with insight into why it’s never too late to remember a loved one and celebrate his or her life.
