Person extricated from two-car crash on Route 24

One person was extricated from a vehicle following a two-car crash Aug. 15 at the intersection of Route 24 and Mulberry Knoll Road.
The crash happened about 6:30 p.m. resulting in one person entrapped, said officials with the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Co. Firefighters and emergency responders removed one person by cutting off the roof of the vehicle; two people were taken to Beebe Healthcare for treatment.
Responders were on scene for about an hour. Delaware State Police are investigating the accident.
