Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church holds Vacation Bible School

Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ellendale, under its pastor Bishop Major Foster, hosted 276 children at its 29th annual Vacation Bible School this summer.

The mission of the Vacation Bible School was to provide an opportunity for the children the community and surrounding communities to learn about God and faith, and connect with others through interactive activities like music, Bible stories, skits, crafts and games.

The lessons revolved around the 12 tribes of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Ephraim, Benjamin, Naphtali, Asher, Gad, Dan, Judah, Maneeseh, Issachar and Zebulun. The Friday night program featured children's presentations of lessons they had learned  as well as original skits.  Walmart, Save a Lot, Fresh Pride, Subway, Burns Tropical Fish & Pet Shop, Papa John’s, Applebee’s, Blessing Blends, McDonald's, Gigante, Candy Kitchen, Kings Market, and T.S. Smith and Sons were among the sponsors.
