Pocahontas council appoints chiefs for 2011-12

The Appointed Chiefs of the Anona Council 11, Degree of Pocahontas for 2011-12 are in back (l-r) JoAnn Melson, first scout; Victoria Eastburn, first councilor; Mary Ellen Grinolds, first runner; Elizabeth Willey, second scout; Agnes Murphy, guard of tepee; Dorothea Veasey, second runner; Lynda Wright, journal clerk; Cathey Betts-Mylod, second aide; and Trudy Kruger, second councilor. The Anona Council meets at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at the Red Men Lodge, Route 113, Georgetown.
