Pop-up toy shop open for final weekend July 16-18

The final weekend for the pop-up toy shop Creative Play with 2 Paper Sisters is Friday to Sunday, July 16 to 18. Store hours are 3 to 7 p.m., Friday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

Tanger Outlets has been a gracious host, and everyone has been extremely supportive. For this final weekend, patrons can shop small, support local artisans and encourage children’s creative and open-ended play. Since there is no “right” way to play with these toys, kids ages 2-10 can express themselves free from judgment and competition.

Creative expression is encouraged with allergen-free crayons, chalk, play dough and paints. The shop can empower a child with a handcrafted cape, shield, and mask; and deepen imaginative play with masterfully detailed wooden trucks. Participants can create a calming, anti-anxiety experience with soothing sensory rice kits.

And, for those times that kids need to burn off some energy, the Pikler furniture turns any play space into a perfectly kid-sized indoor playground.
