Pop-up toy shop open in Tanger Outlets three more weekends

Locally sourced, eco-friendly toys for creative and open-ended play are now available at Creative Play with 2 Paper Sisters, a pop-up shop at Tanger Outlets Seaside, next to Rue 21.

Customers can re-create the perfect play spaces in their own homes using toys that rely on kids’ imagination and creativity instead of batteries and Wi-Fi.

The arts section is outfitted with organic play dough, specialty crayons and sidewalk chalk, and eco-friendly finger paints.

In the creative play section, a child can dress up as a super hero complete with cape, shield and eye mask, or zoom around with one of the highly detailed wooden trucks.

Sensory play is so important for all kids; it helps with anxiety and is a perfect way for kids to decompress after an emotional outburst. Shoppers can browse the sensory bar to create a personalized kit or purchase a pre-made one.

The adorable book nook includes a variety of books to choose from and a linen canopy that is perfect for snuggling. 

And, for those times that kids need to burn off some energy, the Pikler furniture turns any play space into a perfectly kid-sized indoor playground.

Store hours are 3 to 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays. Remaining weekends are Friday to Sunday, July 2 to 4, July 9 to 11 and July 16 to 18.

These toys are perfect for birthday gifts, summer play dates, mementos from the beach, or just because. A 5 percent portion of all purchases supports an American-based charity.
