President, Prosecutor and People lecture slated April 6

March 22, 2019

Dickens Parlour Theatre will present The President, the Prosecutor and the People, a lecture by Susan Low Bloch, constitutional law professor at Georgetown University, at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 6 in Millville.

She graduated summa cum laude from Smith College and the University of Michigan Law School, and possesses graduate degrees in math and computer science.

She attributes her husband and Watergate as her inspirations for entering the world of law. Protecting democracy, and improving society are significant goals she works diligently to achieve through law.

Bloch is the wife and magician's assistant to the famous magician Richard Bloch. They were high school sweethearts, and now have two children who are also attorneys. She considers her family, and the fact that her two children are public defenders, to be her proudest achievements in life thus far. Love and passion, for both magic and law, run in the talented Bloch family.

Bloch is the author and co-author of various books, and many articles articulating subjects such as the Supreme Court, constitutional and administrative law. Preceding her current career as an educator, she served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall and Judge Spottswood Robinson.

As if that were not exciting enough, Bloch is a requested guest on a variety of worldwide radio and television news programs including Fox News Channel and NBC. She also has testified before the House Judiciary Committee and the Senate concerning presidential impeachment and indictment.

The address is 35715 Atlantic Ave, Millville.
