R. Keith Wilkinson, Washington, D.C. native

R. Keith Wilkinson, 82, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, with his family by his side. He was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Washington, D.C., son of the late Roy Keith and Helen Van Sickle Wilkinson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilkinson was preceded in death by his brother, John W. Crafton. He is survived by his sister, Glory W. Adams (James) of Mechanicsville, Va.; nieces: Donna Adams and Dana Adams, both of Glen Allen, Va., and Lisa Faulk (Lloyd) of Virginia Beach, Va.; grandnieces: Olivia Adams and Cabell Faulk; and many cherished friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many devoted friends and neighbors who helped Keith remain independent and active until the very end.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Meals On Wheels, 32409 Lewes-Georgetown Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, CAMP Rehoboth, 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971, or the charity of your choice.

Per Keith’s request, there will be no service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Lewes.
