RAL holds opening reception for 43rd Annual Members Fine Craft Exhibition
The Rehoboth Art League held an opening reception for its 43rd Annual Members Fine Craft Exhibition June 17. Craft items ranging from pottery, glass and wood are on display at the show.
New this year are spotlight exhibitions on six member artists. They include Deb Appleby, glass; Bea Whitehead, basketry; Roz Weinberger, pottery; Michael Quattrociocchi, wood; Fran Miller, glass; and Irina Iakomi, fiber. Also on display is last year’s Members’ Fine Craft Exhibition’s Mary Trimble Lynch Best in Show award-winning artist Felicia Belair-Rigdon’s solo show, “The Art of Memory-Assemblage.”
Awards for exceptional works were presented by Jennifer Zwilling, curator of artistic programs at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, Pa. The exhibition was sponsored by Dogfish Head and The Blue Moon.
