The Rehoboth Art League has announced that Jay Pastore has joined the nonprofit arts organization as exhibitions director. Pastore will lead the art league’s exhibitions and art display functions for all of the RAL’s galleries on its historic campus and other locations where RAL collections and members' work are on display.

“We are excited to have Jay on board,” says RAL Executive Director Sheila Bravo. “His experience will be a great asset as we expand exhibition opportunities for artists and promote our collections.”

Pastore is well known in the Rehoboth area as the former principal and director of Gallery 50 where he represented over 25 artists in the region. Recently, he has provided exhibition design services for a museum in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Pastore earned his master's in exhibition design from the Corcoran College of Art and Design, and holds prior degrees from the University of Pittsburgh in the medical field, his former career before transitioning into art exhibition. Pastorey has served as a guest curator for several nonprofit art events in Delaware, and was the co-founder and former president of Mosaic, of which many Rehoboth Beach art galleries are members.
