A recent trip to Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada was the perfect getaway for two avid Gazette readers. Jon and Kathy Osterholm took the chance to catch up on reading the paper when they stopped at Cape Spear on the Avalon Peninsula. It was such a peaceful place to read. Excluding Greenland, it is the easternmost point in North America. Icebergs, puffins, and whale sightings are just a few highlights of Joe and Kathy’s great trip.
