Rebeccah L. Crouse, loved Disney trips
Rebeccah “Becky” L. Crouse, 65, of Millsboro, formerly of Lewes, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 11, 2024, at her home.
Becky was born in Wilmington July 26, 1958, daughter of the late Charles W. Bradford II and the late Florence Barbara (Ainsworth) Bradford. She was a graduate of Conrad High School Class of 1979. Becky worked as a custodian at the University of Delaware School of Marine Science & Policy in Lewes before becoming an insurance agent with American General until her disability in 2003.
Becky enjoyed doing crafts, using beads to make earrings and bracelets. She also enjoyed crocheting and sewing, but above all else she loved her trips to Disney with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Geroge J. Bateman Jr.; and a brother, Charles “Chick” W. Bradford III. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jerry L. Crouse; stepdaughter, Lorena Crouse; a granddaughter, Stephanie Crouse; and a great-grandson. Becky is also survived by two sisters, Victoria E. Pragg and Janice M. Hall.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, April 18, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends and family may call after 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Becky’s name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963; or Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org.
