Redner's set to open Thursday, Nov. 17
Final preparations and stocking are taking place, and the finishing touches are being applied to the state’s first Redner’s Fresh Market in Lewes.
The store will host a public open house from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16, then officially open for business at 8 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 17.
The 49,000-square-foot Redner’s Fresh Market is at 24120 Zinfandel Lane in The Vineyards, which is owned and operated by Fernmoor Holdings at Vineyards LLC. The store was constructed by SMJ Contracting of Douglassville, Pa.
“We are very excited to open this store for the Lewes and Rehoboth Beach communities. Through the pandemic, we experienced some delays that were not the norm, but through it all have kept plugging away, and finally we are ready to open our doors and offer the community our Redner’s Fresh Market options,” said President/CEO Ryan Redner. “Planning this store and all it has to offer has been a labor of love for our entire team, and we can’t wait to cut the ribbon.”
The store will focus on utilizing full-service departments such as bakery, deli, meat and seafood, produce and chef-prepared meals. Daily prepared items such as popcorn, infused water, sushi, marinated seafood/steaks and pressed juices are some of the featured products, along with a variety of fresh-cut produce and ready-to-go meals.
In addition to the service departments, the store will feature 45,000 items within the frozen, dairy, health and beauty aids/non-foods and grocery departments. The store will feature self-checkout registers, online shopping and curbside pickup along with DoorDash and Shipt delivery options. Guests will also be able to take advantage of Redner’s Rewards to redeem on fuel purchases at the Redner’s fuel kiosk located in the shopping center parking lot.
