Rehoboth Art League closes campus until Jan. 4

December 12, 2020

The Rehoboth Art League at 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres, takes the health and safety of the community very seriously. Despite operating under CDC guidelines – including requiring masks, social distancing, and frequent sanitizing – it has received notice that a member artist who was recently on campus has tested positive for COVID-19.

Anyone who has been in close contact with this person is being notified by the Rehoboth Art League. Those who visited the campus between Dec. 5 and 10 are recommended to be tested for COVID. As a reminder, the Delaware Division of Public Health undertakes contact tracing with people who test positive, and in consultation with epidemiologists, will make personal notifications if quarantining is warranted.

In light of this information, and in consideration of community positivity rates on the rise, RAL has closed its campus immediately, with tentative plans to reopen Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. Online classes will continue as planned, and the RAL gallery, including members’ sales, can be accessed online. Curbside pickup or shipping can be arranged for purchases.

RAL thanks the public for continued support and understanding as they navigate what has undoubtedly been a most difficult year.
