Rehoboth Art League to host holiday open house Dec. 14

The Rehoboth Art League campus will be decorated for the season, and its galleries will offer an impressive selection of fine art, fine crafts and gift items during the annual holiday open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres.

Art, music and refreshments will make this day of hospitality a wonderful way to begin the holiday season in Rehoboth Beach. Refreshments will be available courtesy of the Village Improvement Association.

The musical lineup for the day includes Roo Brown and Mixed Blessings a cappella group singing a mixture of holiday and Gershwin tunes at 11 a.m., and Chris Johnson on the piano from 12 to 2 p.m. with old favorites, some holiday songs and maybe a sing-along.

Fine art and fine crafts from Rehoboth Art League members will be on display and for sale in the Corkran, Tubbs and Ventures galleries throughout the holidays. The variety of holiday gift options will include jewelry, paintings, ceramics, glass work, sculpture, metal work and wearable fiber art.
