Rehoboth Avenue bathrooms block beautiful Christmas tree
I would encourage everyone in Rehoboth to visit the Bandstand area and admire the beautiful Christmas tree the city has decorated. Bad Hair Day on Lake Avenue is also very pretty.
It is too bad the building of public restrooms blocks the approaching view of this beautiful Christmas tree, and also the Bandstand.
There are two other large public restrooms close by, one on Baltimore Avenue and the Boardwalk and one on Delaware Avenue at the Boardwalk. Are three public restrooms really necessary or could the public restroom on Rehoboth Avenue be eliminated? It is built on the most valuable and central location in Rehoboth Beach. Open the other two restrooms year-round and post signs for directions, or purchase another location. Most towns and cities do not put public restrooms in such a prime location. Without this building, the Bandstand area would be very pretty, with an open view of the Boardwalk, Bandstand and future Christmas trees.
