After more than a decade on Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth Beach, JAM Bistro has moved across town to the corner of Second Street and Wilmington Avenue.
JAM Bistro is owned by business partners Mark Hunker and Jeff McCracken, who also own Eden on Baltimore Avenue, Coho’s Market on Rehoboth Avenue and Red, White & Basil on Route 1.
The restaurant announced earlier this year it was moving in advance of the inevitable demolition of its current home, an old beach cottage that will be razed to make way for a new hotel.
JAM’s new home, 210 Second St., has been many restaurants over the years, most recently UnWined at the Beach and Azzurro before that.
Hunker said JAM is open for dinner Wednesday and Thursday; lunch and dinner Friday; and brunch, lunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday. Beginning the Wednesday, May 24, the restaurant will be open seven days a week, he said.
