Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber of Commerce celebrates Indigo with ribbon cutting

Indigo, an elegant Indian restaurant, opened in June 2017 in the ocean block of Rehoboth Avenue. Area residents now have an authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of downtown Rehoboth Beach. Father-and-son duo Suraj Kumar and Raghu Kumar came from Annapolis, Md., where they owned and operated an Indian restaurant for 25 years.

After some doubts and hesitations, they finally took a chance and brought their cuisine to the beach, and they do not regret it. The response from locals has been very happy, excited, and supportive of this very fine-quality Indian restaurant.

Indigo serves BBQ specialties of chicken Tandoori, salmon, lamb and prawns from their clay oven (Tandoor). The fresh-baked breads are hot sellers. A wide variety of vegetarian dishes along with lots of vegan ones add alternatives.

Lunch special menu is available every day from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dinner runs from 2:30 to 10 p.m. Dine in, carryout, and catering are also available every day. The owners thank and appreciate the locals and are very grateful for their support!
