Rehoboth flower shop celebrates 15 years

Bayberry Flowers celebrated its 15th year in business in the Rehoboth Beach area April 15. Located in the Henlopen Junction Mall on Rehoboth Avenue, Bayberry Flowers is an award-winning and community-minded flower shop providing high-end flower designs and event-planning services.

“We are proud to say that we have been in the same location for the past 15 years,” said co-owner Ernie Sando. The business was founded by James Beauter in 1996. Sando and his partner, Carl Grimm, purchased the business Jan. 8, 2003.

“Since our purchase of Bayberry, we have renovated the shop and concentrated on bringing quality flower designs and service to the Rehoboth Beach area,” Grimm said. “Our wedding business has grown steadily throughout the years, and we are now the first place a bride comes for the perfect wedding flowers.”

Bayberry Flowers also has a deep commitment to the community and is proud of its relationship with Beebe Medical Center’s Auxiliary, having contributed nearly $40,000 over the years.
