Rehoboth library appoints new director

The Rehoboth Beach Public Library board of trustees recently announced the appointment of Rachel Wackett as the new library director.

With more than 10 years of library experience in Sussex County, Wackett has served as Frankford Public Library director and Seaford Public Library deputy director.

“Rachel brings with her a strong public-service dedication to forming partnerships with community groups to promote library and community services. We look forward for her to begin her work by mid-March, 2023,” said Tom Wontorek, Rehoboth library board president.

Alison Miller, former Rehoboth Beach Library director, accepted a position with the Sussex County Library Department in December 2022.
