Revis-Plank ready to serve Town of Milton

March 11, 2021

I am incredibly honored to have been elected to Milton Town Council. I had a lot of help along the way! Thank you to the following for their help:

• Voters (239) who had enough confidence to vote for me in the Milton Town Council election held March 6

• Councilman-elect John Collier and candidates Allen Sangree and Emory West for a clean, respectful election process

• Milton Chamber of Commerce, the League of Women Voters, and Eagles Nest Church for hosting the candidate forum. I think it was critical this year given the pandemic and our inability to gather en masse for meet and greet sessions as we have in the past

• Mayor Ted Kanakos as well as the current and previous town council members for their support and encouragement. Their mentoring is a critical part of being prepared for this process and the role of town councilwoman going forward

• Mrs. Rogers and the staff in Milton Town Hall for their support and total dedication to having a great election experience for all involved

• The election officials and volunteers who kept the polling place running smoothly

• All who placed campaign signs in their yards, wrote endorsement letters to the Cape Gazette on my behalf or offered other support

• My family, neighbors, and friends for their encouragement. When I was unsure, they were steadfast in their belief in me

• Ryan Mavity of the Cape Gazette for his election coverage.

I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep, as my favorite poet, Robert Frost, once said.

I have the head, the heart, and the hands to do this job and to do it well! Let the work of being your ally on town council begin!

Lee Revis-Plank
Milton Town Councilwoman-elect
