Revival House seeks short-film submissions for May 21 festival
All local filmmakers are invited to submit their short films for the Revival House’s annual Lower Slower Film Festival set for Sunday, May 21, at the Milton Theatre.
This is the largest gathering of local shorts in the area and is open to all genres. As one of Revival House’s most popular events, the Lower Slower Film Fest is a chance to impress family and friends, connect with other area filmmakers and generally feel like a big shot, said Rob Rector, co-founder.
The event is open to both seasoned and first-time filmmakers with a vision to share. All films will be considered, and all selected filmmakers will be invited to attend in person and participate in an audience Q&A after the screenings. The event will feature an audience award, so entrants are encouraged to bring along friends and family members.
To enter a film, go to revivalhousetheater.com to complete and submit a screening agreement; then provide a secure link to the film by emailing robwaters76@gmail.com. For more information, email therevivalhouse@gmail.com.
