Richard Lee Zerbe, loved his family
Richard Lee Zerbe, 66, of Millsboro, passed away Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born June 9, 1955, in York, Pa., son of Betty J. (Overmiller) Zerbe and the late Leon R. Zerbe Jr.
Rick graduated from Central York High School in 1974. He worked as a tank mechanic and test driver for BAE Systems. After retirement in 2016, he relocated to Millsboro. Rick loved his family, hunting, fishing, and riding his Big Dog and Harley.
Rick is survived by his ex-wife, Cathy R. Zerbe and their three children: Broc L. Zerbe, Amanda R. Jackson (Zerbe), and Brad L. Zerbe; his six grandchildren: Bradley Zerbe Jr., Bailey Zerbe, Zoey Jackson, Avery Jackson, Emmy Jackson, and Braelyn Zerbe; and his sister, Robin (Zerbe) Knight.
All services will be private. Final care for Mr. Zerbe has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes.
