Robert Gregory Walls, 76, known as Mr. Bob or Bobby, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, reuniting with his beloved wife of 48 years, Darlene. He was born Feb. 16, 1948, to Millard and Helen Jester Walls in Milford Memorial Hospital. He retired from the phone company after 37 years and moved back to Sussex County.

Until his death, he was very active in many clubs and associations. During his life, he was a member of Delaware Mobile Surf-Fisherman Club for 46 years, and Shikellamy and Hemlock Archery clubs, where he shot competitively and won many awards. During the early 2000s, he started with a passion for building RC airplanes and belonged to the Lewes RC Club and one in Richland, Pa. Once he moved to Harmons Hill, his passion for building things changed to building a Punkin Chunkin air cannon called Chunknology, and participated in that until 2013. When his wife fell ill with Alzheimer’s and required him to stay home, his passion changed to restoring antique tractors and he restored seven tractors. He belonged to First State Tractor Club, Hickory Ridge Tractor Club, and Delmarva Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Association, where he served as a director at times with each club.

Walls (Christina) of Seward, Pa.; grandchildren, Ronald Kime II, Amber Felts, Ashley Walls and Joshua Walls; two sisters, Betty Foxwell (Bill) and Diane Walls; one aunt, Louise Ellis (Avery); three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Special thanks go to Ronald Kime for his great caregiving over the last four years and to Paradise Senior Living for taking over and providing amazing care when it was most needed.
