Robert "Bob" Henry Lineaweaver, 84, of Millsboro, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, after a life well-lived. Born Dec. 1, 1940, in Lebanon, Pa., Bob exemplified hard work and dedication throughout his years. As a skilled electrician and the proud owner of Bob Lineaweaver Electric, he not only electrified homes but also brightened the lives of those around him with his warmth and generosity. He was a son of the late Norman W. Lineaweaver and Hilda (Edwards) Lineaweaver.

Bob proudly served in the U.S. Navy, where he learned the values of discipline and service that he carried with him throughout his life. He was a man of integrity, possessing a deep love for his family and friends, and he delighted in sharing stories from his past while imparting wisdom to those who sought it.

He cherished spending time with his family, especially during family dinners, where he showcased his culinary skills, particularly his famous fermented sauerkraut. A devoted fan of sports, he took immense joy in rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles. His enthusiasm for the outdoors was reflected in his love for gardening and maintaining a vibrant yard full of flowers, which brought beauty and joy to his family and neighbors.

He is survived by his beloved granddaughter, Adrienne K. Cody and husband Will, whom he cherished dearly; his great-granddaughter, Penelope; his sister, Delores Welsh; and several other brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen R. Lineaweaver.
