Robert L. Teichert Sr., Korean War veteran

Robert L. Teichert Sr., 89, of Millsboro, passed away in his home Thursday, June 13, 2024.  

Robert was born in Lehighton, Pa., in May 1935, to the late Clarence and Stella Teichert of Whitehall, Pa.  He was the oldest of three children; they all preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Whitehall High School and a military veteran of the Korean War. Robert was married to the late Patricia A. (Zartler) Teichert in February 1958.

Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved the outdoors and nature. He was a devoted and caring husband and father to his wife, Patricia; and his two children, Deborah L. Davis-Koval of Mohnton, Pa., and Robert L. Teichert Jr. of Emmaus, Pa. He worked at Bethlehem Steel’s Philadelphia Bethlehem & New England Railroad for over 40 years as a data processing manager and retired to Millsboro with his wife in 1999. He was an active member of Creeks End community.

Robert leaves to cherish his loving memory, his children, Deborah and Robert Jr.; and his four grandchildren, Kimberly A. Swing of Downingtown, Pa., Nina K. Fedora of Hamburg, Pa., Nathan R. Teichert of Royersford, Pa., and Robert A. Teichert of Royersford, Pa. He also leaves behind two great-grandchildren and a host of family, friends, and amazing neighbors.

Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 28, at Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church, 30839 Mount Joy Road, Millsboro, with a Christian Mass to follow at 11 a.m.
