Robert Williams Diffenderfer, great sense of humor
Robert Williams Diffenderfer passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, in Millsboro. He was born Feb. 19, 1965, in Baltimore, Md.
Robert was a proud graduate of Towson High School Class of 1983, and dedicated his career to the culinary arts, working as a chef at various restaurants throughout the greater Towson area.
Robert was known for his great sense of humor and his love for telling corny jokes, bringing laughter to those around him. He cherished the time spent with his family, particularly enjoying moments watching University of Maryland lacrosse team and Baltimore Orioles games with his brothers. His passion for fishing provided him with endless joy and tranquility.
He was the son of the late Norman and June Williams Diffenderfer, and brother to the late James and Russel Diffenderfer.
Robert is survived by one brother, Steve Diffenderfer (Kathy) of Bel Air, Md.; and a sister-in-law, Ann Diffenderfer of Laytonsville, Md. He left behind a legacy of humor, love, and cherished memories to his two nieces, Sara Ruane (Devon) and Stephanie Diffenderfer, both of Bel Air; two nephews, Lee Diffenderfer (Megan) of Baltimore, Md., and Ben Diffenderfer (Nicole) of Kingsville, Md.; as well as two great-nieces, Alice and Gracie Diffenderfer; and two great-nephews Christian and Beckett Diffenderfer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
