Robin Lee Ann Clark, pediatric nurse

Robin Lee Ann Clark, 64, of Millsboro, formerly of Tacoma, Wash., and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.

Robin was born in Spokane, Wash., Aug. 31, 1954, daughter of the late Lee Alan Whitaker and the late Flavia Ann (Halpin) Whitaker.  She graduated from Spokane Community College with a nursing degree.

Robin was a pediatric nurse and loved her profession.  She was employed as a nurse with Pediatric & Adolescent Center in Milton since July 2008.  Her patients’ parents always said, “She gave the best shots.”  Her love for nursing and providing care to children overlapped into her personal life as well. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.  

Robin loved living near the beach and enjoyed attending the local festivals in the area.  She also loved her coffee and anything with chocolate.  She will be remembered for her unselfish, giving and positive personality.   

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Dryden and her husband Jay of Millsboro; four grandchildren, Trinity Wilson, Nevaeh Wilson, Ethan Wilson and Amylea Dryden; a brother, Brian Alan Whitaker of Spokane; and two nephews, Grant Whitaker of Spokane and Corbin Whitaker of Portland, Ore.

A celebration of her life will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 1, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends and family may gather after 6 p.m.  Interment will be private.
