Ronald A. Wilson, former FBI, police officer

September 29, 2021

Ronald A. Wilson, 83, succumbed to cancer at Christiana Hospital in Newark. Seasons Hospice cared well for him during his final days and weeks.

After joining the FBI as a young man, he was a police officer. Later, Ron was director of security for Tunnell Companies, LP, and then Gettier Security, ending his career with federal protection at the U.S. Attorneys' Office in Wilmington.

In retirement, Ron continued painting art works, model building, much reading, honey-do projects, and of course, cooking. He leaves behind his wife and two grandsons, and his brother-in-law and other family.

As Ron wanted, there will be no services, and no flowers, please. His cremated remains will return to his beloved Long Neck. May he rest in peace.
