Rotary helps stock Delaware Tech pantry
As part of its week of service in April, the Lewes-Rehoboth Beach Rotary Club provided personal care and other non-food items for the Delaware Technical Community College food and personal care pantry at the college’s Owens Campus in Georgetown.
The college operates the pantry for any student who is in need of personal items and/or food. Many students struggle to purchase these types of items due to their increased cost over the past few years, and they are not always available at other pantries. Donated items included toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues, laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap, hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray, disinfectant wipes, feminine hygiene products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, lotion, bar soap, body wash, shaving cream, disposable razors, diapers and baby lotion.Two carts of products were delivered to the college.
