Royal Princess Tea Party to benefit local charity Aug. 17

All princesses and princes are invited to a Royal Princess Tea Party hosted by the Kim and Evans Family Foundation from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center.

Special guest speaker will be Disney legend Linda Larkin, the voice of Princess Jasmine from the Walt Disney classic animated feature film, “Aladdin.” Larkin will speak on Empowering Young Women. Everyone attending will have a chance to meet  Larkin and get a photo and autograph.

There will be afternoon tea appetizers catered by Food By Design, live music by Maria Mulrine and desserts by Sweet Serenity Chocolates. A silent auction will include Disney collectibles, signed prints and much more. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their favorite prince and princess costumes.

Proceeds will benefit the Kim and Evans Family Foundation’s initiatives to provide brand-new tennis shoes to local students in need and necessary supplies to local veterans. The nonprofit Kim and Evans Family Foundation Inc. was established in 2017 to better the lives of disadvantaged people and animals in Sussex County and beyond.
