Ryan Javier Carbajal, art enthusiast

Ryan Javier Carbajal, age 17, of Laurel, passed away in a tragic car accident Jan. 1, 2022. He was born in Georgetown May 14, 2004, son of Cirilo Carbajal Marcial and Blanca Veronica Carbajal.

Ryan was an art enthusiast, and enjoyed drawing and painting. He was an avid sports fan, and he could often be found playing video games, soccer, and basketball. Above all, Ryan loved spending time with those he held most dear. He was a loving and devoted son, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ryan was predeceased by his grandfathers, Juan Carbajal and Miguel Alviar. He is survived by his mother, Blanca Carbajal; his father, Cirilo Carbajal; his sisters: Rosaleen Carbajal and Amanda Escobar; and his brother, Anthony Carbajal.

A funeral service will take place Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 11 a.m. at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, 25153 DuPont Blvd., Georgetown.
