Savannah Animal Hospital welcomes new vet Dr. Dhara Patel

Savannah Animal Hospital recently announced the addition of veterinarian Dr. Dhara Patel.

A native of Philadelphia, she attended the University of Pittsburgh where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a chemistry minor. Patel moved to St. Kitts to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and did her clinical year in North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine.

Patel has a special interest in ophthalmology and pain management. Patel will be seeing small animals both during daytime hours and for 24-hour emergency/after-hours services. Patel is looking forward to serving people through their pets in the Cape Region.
