Savannah Road sidewalk project continues to Jan. 12

While work on New Road is expected to end Dec.1, work on another of the three Lewes entrances will continue until 7 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 12. The $1.57 million Savannah Road project includes sidewalks, curbs, paving, drainage improvements and water main work on the south side of the road from Quaker Road to the Lewes-to-Georgetown Trail crossing. The south-side shoulder and lane are closed, causing a change in lanes with minor delays anticipated.
