School starts in Cape district

Elementary school students first to enter classrooms since COVID-19 emergency declared

For the first time since the COVID-19 state of emergency was declared on March 12, students have returned to classrooms in the Cape Henlopen School District. The district’s five elementary schools opened their doors Sept. 16 to begin a five-day, in-school program. Some middle and high school students returned to classrooms Thursday, Sept. 17. All students have the option to learn from home as well.
