The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice held an Old School Dance Party Feb. 10 at Sydney’s Restaurant & Lounge near Milton.
The evening was filled with the Electric Slide, the Hustle, the Bump, the Twist and many other favorite old-school dances played by DJ John Miller.
Special libations like the “Lovebug Cocktail” were available, along with delicious appetizers.
“We’ve worked hard, so it’s a time for all of us who have a passion for social justice to come together to have a little fun,” said SDARJ Events and Excursions Committee Chair Joe Lawson.
SDARJ is a non-partisan organization that educates, informs and advocates for racial justice, equality and fair opportunity.
