Sharon L. Walsh, retired court clerk
Sharon L. Walsh, 76, of Lewes, passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at Paradise Senior Living, in Georgetown. She was born Monday, May 12, 1941, in Lewes, daughter of the late Samuel C. and Millie Howarth. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Darren Sean Walsh in October 2017.
Mrs. Walsh was a 1959 graduate of Lewes High School, where she was proud to serve as a majorette for three years. For 20 years she worked as a clerk for the Delaware JP Court 2 in Lewes.
She loved to take cruises; however, her most enjoyable time was spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons; William “Paco” and wife Beverly of Milton, Bryson of Harbeson and Del and wife Wynn of Milton; one brother, Clifford Howarth and wife Jean of Seaford; four grandchildren, Hunter, Michael, Bryson III and Curlett; and one great-grandson Kai.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, Feb. 16, at 3 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may visit one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow the services at St. Peter's Cemetery, Pilottown Road, Lewes..
