March 11, 2024
Milton was the setting for a blustery Sunday celebration March 10, as the 16th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade rolled through town.
The owners of Irish Eyes in Milton, which opened in downtown in 2006, were looking for a way to give back to the community, and the idea for a parade was born. The first parade had 12 entries and raised $1,000.
Last year, with more than 75 participants, Irish Eyes donated $24,000 to its three beneficiaries. This year’s recipients include Milton Chamber of Commerce, Milton Community Foundation and Milton Fire Department. This year’s presenting sponsors were Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant, Atlantic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Dogfish Head.
