Sheriff Christopher to file as write-in candidate

Republican Sheriff Jeff Christopher announced on a local radio station that he intends to file as a write-in candidate for sheriff in the Tuesday, Nov. 4 election.
The deadline to file as a write-in is today, Sept. 30.
Christopher lost the Republican primary to Robert F. Lee by a narrow margin. Christopher will face Republican Lee and Democrat Beau Gooch in the general election.
